How it Works
NCW Woodshop is a shared woodshop offering Memberships and Classes - like a fitness club. As a member we expect you to be able to work safely and independently. If you're not quite there yet, we suggest taking a few classes first (membership not required) or coming during our open shop time for a more supervised session.
We offer a wide variety of workshops covering many techniques, interests, and skill levels. Classes/workshops give you the opportunity to practice in a safe environment where everyone is welcome.
Enjoy the process!
Woodworking is like any other craft or skill; it's best to take your time and be patient with yourself. If you were learning a new language you wouldn't expect to be fluent after a couple weeks; so, take your time and have fun!
Not sure what to take? Check out: Our Classes - you will find some helpful suggestions based on interest.
If you are looking to make something specific and you need some help, consider Private Lessons.
Who We Are
I’m Jon, and after moving to Wenatchee in 2021, I missed having a community woodshop where I could go to relax and work. The home we purchased in Wenatchee could not support the space for a woodshop. My wife suggested that I open a woodshop like I had worked at in Seattle, and NCW Woodshop was born.
I love creating with my hands, sharing what I know with others, and helping people. I’m that guy at Lowe’s who will offer help to people without being prompted.

Safety First
If you want to become a member or get a discount on classes, the first step is to take Safety Orientation. We run a Safety Orientation on Sunday afternoons; space is limited so make sure to reserve a spot check out the class schedule.
Membership
NCW Woodshop members have access to professional grade equipment and bench space needed to create woodworking projects. All members are required to take Safety Orientation at NCW Woodshop prior to becoming a member.
Members are expected to work independently and safely. Before becoming a member you should have completed a few projects. If you're not quite there yet, we suggest taking some classes first.
After taking Safety Orientation and proving you know how to use the machines safely and confidently you may join as a member. If you are planning to make a cut you've never done before, we encourage you to attempt the set up, then check with us to look at the set up.
Classes/Workshops

From beginner to advanced we're confident you will find something worth your while. If you are looking for something different please let us know.
