Level up your next game night by building your own custom cribbage board in our weekend drop-in class at NCW Woodshop! In this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll start by choosing from a variety of prepared hardwood stock. We’ll guide you through gluing up your board and prepping it for drilling—giving you a clean, durable blank ready for your design.

Our staff will walk you through setting up your cribbage template and drilling the 120 standard peg holes. You’ll learn how to safely use clamps, a power drill, and an orbital sander while shaping and finishing your board to perfection. Along the way, we’ll share tips for sanding, sealing, and long-term care so your board looks great for years of game nights ahead.

Bring a friend or come solo—take turns drilling, sip, socialize, and enjoy the satisfaction of crafting something functional, beautiful, and totally handmade. Cribbage pegs are included, so your board is ready to play the moment you walk out the door!

What You'll Learn:

Proper use of cutting tools (band saw, scroll saw, jig saw), drills, jointer and planer.

Sanding and finishing techniques

Days: Saturdays and Sundays from 11am - 4pm

Skill Level: No prior woodworking experience necessary!
